Open the sealing cap (2).

For the HATZ standard radiator: Top up coolant to the MAX
mark on the expansion tank.
For the HATZ OpenPowerUnit radiator: Top up coolant to the
edge of the pipe cut-out.
Preparation of the coolant, see the chapter 4.4 Coolant,
page 23

Tighten the sealing cap (2) by hand all the way.

Start the engine (see the chapter 7 Operation and use,
page 38
).

Warm up the engine until the coolant has reached a tempera-
ture of approx. 85°C. Above this temperature the coolant is
pumped through the entire cooling system and forces out re-
maining air bubbles.

Switch off the engine and let it cool down completely (see the
chapter 7 Operation and use, page 38).

Check the coolant level again. The coolant must be seen be-
tween the MIN and MAX mark; for a warm engine the level can
also be slightly above the MAX mark.
