7.0 AIR DRILL MONITOR INTRODUCTION

The Seed Hawk

®

Air Drill Monitor is capable of monitoring and displaying:


-Speed and Acres

-Up to 2 Fan Sensors

-Up to 3 Meter Speeds

-Up to 3 Meter Application Rates

-Up to 3 Hopper Levels

-Liquid Flow Meter

-Hydraulic Pressure

-Field Area

-Total Area

-Sounding an alarm and displaying which devise is faulted


The Monitor will sound an alarm to alert the operator if it detects any of the
following conditions:

-Low Meter Speed

-Low Bin Levels

-Loss of Motion

-Low or High Fan Speed


The Monitor allows the following settings to be changed:

-Ground Speed pulses per 400 feet and pulses per revolution

-Pulses per revolution of 3 Meter Speed/pounds/rev etc.

-Low Bin alarm point for 3 bins

-The width of the implement

-The display units (Imperial/Metric)

-Low and High alarm points for 2 Fans


These settings, as well as the Field and Total Acres are stored in non-volatile
memory. This means that the information is retained even when power is
disconnected.

This Manual will familiarize you with Installation, calibration, operation and
technical information. All aspects are detailed but may not be applicable to your
particular system configuration.
