8.4.1.5 SENSOR SETTINGS

When an installed sensor is highlighted, a Settings Soft Key becomes selectable.
To view the settings of a sensor, press the Settings Soft Key.

The Sensor Settings Menus show the Sensor Type, Serial #, State, ID and Max
Baud Rate and a few other user selectable options as discussed in the following
sections.

8.4.1.5.1 GROUND SPEED SETTINGS

The Ground Speed Settings menu shows the
calibration number. If an operator knows their
calibration number or wants to adjust the
calibration number manually, this can be done
by selecting the Pulses per 400 ft selection
box. Press the “Enter” key and a dropdown
key pad will appear. Use the selector knob to
navigate about the keypad and enter the new
value. Press OK to accept the change.

8.4.1.5.2 METER SETTINGS

Low Alarm Point: This is the minimum meter
RPM the monitor will recognize. If the meter
RPM falls below this setting an alarm will sound
and must be acknowledged if the condition is left
to continue. The default low alarm point value is
0.5 RPM.

Weight/Rev: This value is calculated during the
meter calibration procedure. It can be entered or
modified manually as well using this screen.

Meter Rate: This value is automatically set during the meter calibration

procedure. It can also be set manually. Changing the setting affects the displayed
increments displayed. “Low” is for application rates up to 10 Lbs/acre, “Medium”
is for application rates from 10 to 100 Lbs/acre, “High” is for application rates
above 100 Lbs/acre.
