The Repeater COM Port [R] default is COM1.
Follow the same procedure with the IR COM Port [I] button. Typically, the IR COM Port [I] will
also be COM1.
Touch the Programming Mode [M] button or press the “M” key to select one of two modes.
Choose the frequency hopping mode when using Orion frequency hopping transmitters and the
narrow band mode when using narrow band transmitters.
If you want to view the Listen screen after programming, touch the box in front of Show Listen
After Programming or press “L.” Either action places an X in the box.
Touch Save [S] or press “S” on the keyboard to make changes permanent; touch Cancel [C] or
press “C” on the keyboard to leave settings as they were.
Program Serial Repeater
The Program Repeater screen will be displayed when you touch the Begin Programming [P]
button on the Main Menu or press “P” on the keyboard.
Note: The above shows the Program Repeater screen after initiation of communication with the
Repeater and population of the Serial Number (SN) column.
If the following error screen appears, it probably means the cable isn’t plugged in properly. Re-
connect it and try again.
