Standard SDI-12 Commands Supported
by WS425

Acknowledge Active Command (a!)

This command is used to ensure that a sensor is responding to a data
recorder or another SDI-12 device. It asks a sensor to acknowledge its
presence on the SDI-12 bus.

The command is the following:

The sensor address.

!

=

Terminates the command.

The response is the following:

a<CR><LF>

where

The sensor address. The default values is zero
(0).

<CR><LF>

=

Terminates the response.
