Resetting Your Favorites
Resetting the favorites restores only the factory default
favorite settings installed when the phone was shipped.
(See “Favorites” on page 98.)
To reset favorites:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Security.
2.
Use the Navigation Pad to enter your lock code and
select Done (
). (The Security menu is displayed.)
3.
Select Reset Favorites and press
.
4.
If you are certain that you would like to restore all the
factory favorite settings, select Yes and press
.
Resetting Your Phone
Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults,
including the ringer types and display settings. This type of
reset also deletes any data found within the Contacts list, special
numbers, and pic/video folders.
To reset your phone:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Security.
2.
Use the Navigation Pad to enter your lock code and
select Done (
). (The Security menu is displayed.)
3.
Select Reset Phone and press
.
4.
If you are certain that you would like to restore the
phone to its factory settings, select Yes and press
.
