Modo de cámara fotográfica digital Digital Still Camera mode
✤ You can use the MEMORY FORMAT functions to completely
delete all images and options on the Memory Card, including
protected images.
✤ The format function restores the Memory Card to its initial state.
✤ The Memory Card supplied with this camcorder has been
formatted already.
Attention
✤ If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT function, all images will
be erased completely and erased images cannot be recovered.
1. Set the mode switch to MEMORY CARD.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Move the MENU SELECTOR to highlight MEMORY
and push the MENU SELECTOR.
■ The sub menu will appear.
5. Select FORMAT from the list and push the MENU
SELECTOR.
6. “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?”
appears on the screen.
7. Using the MENU SELECTOR, select the item.
■ NO : To return to previous menu
■ YES : To start formatting.
8. Push the MENU SELECTOR.
If you selected the “YES”, “COMPLETE!” is
appeared on the screen when the MEMORY CARD
formatting is finished.
9. To exit the menu, push the MENU button.
Note
■ If you want to format the Memory Stick on your PC, use only the
“MS formatter” supplied with the software CD.
■ The MS formatter can only be used with Memory Sticks.

✤ Para eliminar por completo las imágenes y las opciones del Memory
Card, incluidas las imágenes protegidas, se pueden emplear las
funciones MEMORY FORMAT (formateado de memoria).
✤ La función de formateado devuelve el Memory Card a su estado
inicial.
✤ El Memory Card que se suministra junto con la videocámara ya
está formateado.
Atención
✤ Si ejecuta la función MEMORY FORMAT, todas las imágenes
se borrarán y no se podrán recuperar.
1. Ajuste el interruptor de modalidad en la posición
MEMORY CARD.
2. Ajuste el interruptor de la videocámara en la
modalidad PLAYER.
3. Pulse el botón MENÚ.
4. Desplace el SELECTOR MENÚ hasta resaltar
MEMORY (memoria) y pulse el SELECTOR
MENÚ.
■ Aparecerá el submenú.
5. Seleccione la opción FORMAT de la lista y pulse
el SELECTOR MENÚ.
6. En la pantalla aparecerá el mensaje “ALL FILES
ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?” (se
borrarán todos los archivos, seguro que desea
formatear?).
7. Seleccione el elemento correspondiente mediante
el SELECTOR MENÚ.
■ NO : regresa al menú anterior.
■ YES (sí): comienza el formateado.
8. Pulse el SELECTOR MENÚ.
Si ha seleccionado "YES" (Sí), aparecerá la palabra
"COMPLETE!" (terminado) en la pantalla cuando el formateado
del MEMORY CARD haya terminado.
9. Para salir, pulse el botón MENÚ.
Nota
■ Si desea formatear el Memory Stick en un ordenador, utilice el
“MS formatter” que se suministra con el CD de software.
■ MS formatter es el programa exclusivo de la Memory Stick.
