Note: You can record and insert a voice memo of up to 60 seconds in length if you record first before

attaching a picture. (See “My Sounds” on page 124 for more information.) If a picture is attached
before recording, the size of the voice memo is limited to the amount of remaining memory.

Use the Up/Down navigation keys to highlight an sound file, then press the

key to insert a sound into your message. Press

to exit the pop-

up menu without inserting a sound.

You can now send or preview the Picture message.

15.

To preview the Picture message before sending, press the Options

(right) soft key (

), then

select Preview from the list of options that

appears in the display.

To send the Picture message now, press the SEND key (

). Pic Msg

Sending appears in the display and a progress bar indicates the send
status.

Send Video Messages in Camcorder Mode

Video messages can be sent to recipients with compatible phones or devices.

1.

In standby mode, press and hold the Camera key (

— on the right side of

the phone). The camcorder activates.

2.

Using the display as a viewfinder, press the Rec key (

) when the scene

that you wish to record and send appears in the display. The soft key labels
change to the following:

• Save — Left soft key (

)

• Send

key

• Erase — Right soft key (

)

Press the

key. The Create Video Msg screen appears in the display

with the Send To tab highlighted.

4.

Enter the phone number(s) or e-mail address(s) of the one or more

recipients of the Video message.

Tip: Press the Add (right) soft key (

) to display a pop-up menu that lets you search your Contacts for

a recipient, select a Group as recipient, browse the Recent Calls log for a recipient, or send the Video
message to the OnlineAlbum.

5.

Press the

key to move the cursor to the Subject field, then enter a

subject for the Video message using the keypad.
