Other Useful Features

Setting the Bass Control

You can change the Bass Frequency emphasis to
create your own tonal preference.

When the monitor display is open, press the
bass engine button. Bass engine mode is
displayed in the monitor display.

Press the Preset 1 button to select the desired
mode.

Press the g DN or f UP button to adjust
the selected mode.
• Bass Level : -7~+7

You can emphasize or weaken the bass
frequency.

• Bass centre frequency :

60Hz

↔ 70Hz ↔ 80Hz ↔ 90Hz ↔ 100Hz ↔ 130Hz ↔ 150Hz ↔ 200Hz

Emphasizes the displayed Bass frequency
ranges.

• Bass Band Width (Q-Factor):

WIDE1

↔ WIDE2 ↔ WIDE3 ↔ WIDE4

(Narrow)

←..............................→ (Wide)

Changes the displayed frequency's band width
to wide or narrow.

Press the bass engine button to return to the
normal mode.

NOTES

If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds, the Bass

control setting will be turned off automatically.

Depending on the type of external audio processors

connected to the unit, you may not be able to set some
settings.

The settings of the Bass will be individually

memorized for each source (FM, MW, LW and CD)
until the setting is changed. Depending on the
connected devices, some functions and display
indications do not work.

Operation with the monitor display closed
You can set the Bass control with the monitor
display closed.

Press the bass engine button.

Press the Preset 1 button. BASS is displayed
for 2 seconds in the sub display, then the
value of BASS Level blinks.

Each time you press the Preset 1 button, the
blinking shifts.
