Press the g DN or f UP button to set ON/
OFF.

Expand Box ON:

When connecting the
expansion box KCE-103V
(not supplied), set to ON.

Expand Box OFF: When not connecting the

expansion box KCE-103V
(not supplied), set to OFF.

To set another setting, press the Preset 6 button
or another Preset button.

After setting is completed, press the SETUP
button to return to normal mode.

Switching Disc Mode

Use this function when connecting the optional
CD/MD/DVD player, changer.

Press the BAND button to switch the Disc mode
in the CD/MD/DVD changer mode.

Switching Display Modes

Press and hold the FUNC button for at least 2
seconds in the AUX or NAV. mode.
Each press changes the display modes as
follows:

In the Mode 1 (Wide), the monitor displays a
normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen
monitor by evenly stretching out the picture
horizontally.

In the Mode 2 (Zoom), the monitor displays a
normal picture wider to fit in the wide-screen
monitor by unevenly stretching out. The centre
portion of the picture is stretched out only slightly
in order to make the important centre portion of
the picture look natural.

In the Mode 3 (Cinema), the monitor displays a
normal picture by stretching out the picture
horizontally and vertically. This mode is good for
displaying a cinema type picture with the
proportion of 16 to 9.

In the Mode 4 (Normal), the monitor displays
normal picture at the centre of the screen with a
vertical black belt at each side.

Recalling Stored Settings

You can recall the stored settings on the audio
processor with the optional remote control of this
unit with Alpine's audio processor.

Press the A.PROC button on the remote control.

Within 5 seconds, press the

button to

recall the stored setting.
The sub display shows the setting mode.
