RADIUS Settings:
If you want to allow authorization for the SN0108 / SN0116 through a
RADIUS server, do the following:

1. Check Enable RADIUS.

2. Fill in the IP addresses and Service Ports for the Primary and Alternate

RADIUS servers.

3. Key the Shared Secret character string that you want to use for

authentication between the SN0108 / SN0116 and the RADIUS Server.

4. Set the time in seconds that the SN0108 / SN0116 waits for a RADIUS

server reply before it times out in the Timeout field.

5. Set the number of RADIUS retries allowed in the Retries field.

6. Click Save to save the information.

7. On the RADIUS server, set the access rights for each user according to the

attribute information in the table, below:

Example:

U,T,2,3,5,6,12,16

The user can access and configure ports 2, 3, 5, 6, 12, and 16.

Note: 1. The characters are not case sensitive. Upper or lower case work

equally well.

2. Characters are comma delimited.

3. An invalid character in the string will prohibit access to the

SN0108 / SN0116 for the user.

Attribute

Meaning

U

(User) The user has the authority to access and configure some
ports. This attribute must be specified for all users who access the
system.

T

(True) The user has the authority to access and configure the ports
that are specified with it.

F

(False) The user cannot configure any ports.

A

(All) The user has the authority to access and configure all ports.
