8. Tighten the two screws to secure the AnyRAID adapter or the pass-through board.

9. If you are instructed to return the old AnyRAID adapter or the pass-through board, follow all packaging

instructions and use any packaging materials that are supplied to you for shipping.

Installing or removing the intrusion switch

The intrusion switch informs you that the server cover is not properly installed or closed by creating an event
in the system event log (SEL). You can purchase an intrusion switch from Lenovo.

Attention: Do not open your server or attempt any repair before reading and understanding “Safety information”
on page iii
and “Guidelines” on page 61.

Before you begin, print all the related instructions or ensure that you can view the PDF version on another
computer for reference.
