Note: The option kit for AnyRAID adapter, RAID adapter, or pass-through board is designed for different
types of servers and might contain additional cables that are not required for your server.
To install, remove, or replace the AnyRAID adapter or pass-through board, see “Replacing the AnyRAID
adapter or the pass-through board” on page 99.
To install, remove, or replace the RAID card, see “Installing or removing a PCIe card” on page 91.
Your server supports the following AnyRAID adapter, RAID card, and pass-through board:
AnyRAID adapters (supported type varies by server model):
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 510i AnyRAID Adapter
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720i AnyRAID Adapter
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 720ix AnyRAID Adapter
RAID card:
• Lenovo ThinkServer 9286 RAID card
The Lenovo ThinkServer 9286 RAID Adapter is used to connect external storage devices.
Pass-through board:
• Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 110i pass-through board
The Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 110i pass-through board is used to provide SATA software RAID function.
