CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION:
The PointWatch, Model PIR

9400

Infrared Hydrocarbon Gas Detector has a threaded wire feed through incorporating

flying leads. This feed through is to be screwed into the cable entry opening of a suitable certified (Ex ‘d’ or Ex ‘e’)

enclosure in which the flying leads are to be terminated.

In order to maintain the Ingress Protection rating IP

‘d’, suitable for the conditions of use and correctly installed. Unused apertures shall be closed with suitable certified

blanking elements.
