Insulation of the buckstays
Buckstays (girders) that are exposed to heat are
insulated and fitted with a casing. An example
follows.
Buckstays that are exposed to cold are generally
not insulated and not cladded. An example
follows.
1. Boiler wall - ProRox ® insulation - 3. Mat pins with
clips - 4. Buckstay deflectors - 5. Aluminum foil if
