3. Make a note of the version number of the firmware you are updating. In the final step, you

will verify that the firmware version shown here matches the version you are installing.

9.3

Upload Firmware to Device

ClearCube recommends always using the same firmware version on zero clients and host cards.
See PCoIP Firmware Compatibility Guide, available on the ClearCube Support site, for detailed
information about PCoIP firmware versions and compatibility.

1. From the Web interface, click Upload > Firmware.

2. Click Choose File and navigate to the location of the firmware file. Select the appropriate file

(TERA1 for devices with TERA1 PCoIP processors and TERA2 for devices with TERA2
processors) and click Open.

3. Click Upload and then click OK to upload the file. Depending on your computer, the mouse

pointer might show a busy icon (such as an hourglass) while the file is uploaded to the
device. The device refreshes the page and displays the following message:

Firmware was successfully uploaded! You must reset the device for
the changes to take effect.

You can now continue to reset the device as described in the following section.

Continue by resetting the device as described in the following section.

9.4

Resetting Devices after Firmware Installation

There are minor differences in how to reset each PCoIP device. The following sections describe
how to reset each device.

9.4.1 Zero Client

1. Click Reset to reset the device, and then click OK. The PCoIP session ends and the display

goes blank. The zero client displays the OSD.

2. From the OSD, click Connect to connect to the blade.
