Note

When the camera is not used for an extended period of time, take the

camera from the carrying cover and keep it in a place safe from dust and

rTKïisture. Do not store the camera near chemicals such as naphthaline. The

batteries

should

be

taken

out

of

the

battery

compaament

to

prevent

possible damage to the terminals from battery corrosion.

Blow off any dust on the lens with a blower brush or with a soft brush. If

fingerprints

are

accidentally

imprinted

on

the

lens,

wipe

them

off

softly

with a silicone cloth. Do not use heavy pressure, or the lens may be

scratched.

If the camera is dropped in salt water, usually it is impossible to repair. In

such a case, ask at a service station.

High temperature storage, such as inside the rear window or the trunk of

automobiles, is very harmful to a camera.
