Shooting with Video Light
(CAMERA Mode)
When shooting with backiighting or in a dark
room, use the VL-7 Battery Video Light, which is
powered by the BP-E77K or BP-E722 (option)
Battery Pack.
• The duration of iiiumination with the BP-E77K
is approximateiy 15 minutes. For longer
shooting, be sure to have an extra battery
pack.
• Use the video iight within approximateiy 3
metres from the subject to ensure a dear
picture.
• The VL-7 Battery Video Light can be used with
Canon 8mm video cameras marked with
Attaching Video Light 44

1. Insert video light plug into
accessory shoe on the camera.
2. Slide video light into accessory
shoe until it stops.
