The RU-100 RF Unit is required in order to view
recorded video cassettes on a TV which does not
have audio/video inputs. There are two models of
RU-100, one for Europe and one for Australia.
The connection and setting procedures for the
two models differ.

Connection Procedure
1. Connect RF Unit to camera.
2. Attach aerial cable to FROM ANT.
terminal, and connect female
connector to TO TV terminal of RF
unit.
• Please note the difference between ‘male’
and lemale’ type DIN-connectors on coaxial
cable.
3. Connect male connector to aerial
input of TV.
To View a Regular TV Programme
The RU-100 RF Unit has an automatic signal
selector which selects the signal from the video
camera whenever the camera is connected to the
RF unit and the power is turned on. To view a
regular TV programme, disconnect the camera
from the RF unit, or turn the camera off.
