Receiving Faxes
Selecting the way to receive calls !

You do not want the unit
to ring when receiving
fax calls.
(When a voice call is received,
the unit will ring.)
TEL/FAX MODE
(See page 63.)
Change the setting from TEL MODE
to TEL/FAX MODE (see page 64).
When the unit rings, you must
answer all calls.
¡ If you hear a fax calling tone (slow
beep) or cannot hear the caller.
¢ Press (START/COPY/SET) .
MANUAL RECEIVE
¡ When a fax call is detected, the unit
will receive fax documents without
ringing.
¡ When the unit rings, answer the
call using the handset or the SP-
PHONE button.
