AHCI CONFIGURATION SCREEN

This screen provides one function for specifying a configuration setting. In addition, there are
display only functions on this screen which indicate if a drive is detected or not on the AHCI
port specified.

AHCI CD/DVD Boot Timeout

Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: 15

AHCI Ports 0-5

These are display only functions which indicate the manufacturer’s generic drive identity infor-
mation if there is a drive connected to the port indicated and it is detected. These functions are
only available if the function Configure SATA as is available in the IDE Configuration setup
screen and it is set to AHCI.

There are no Optimal or Fail-Safe default settings for this function.

Use one of these settings to specify how long the BIOS is to wait for SATA CD/DVD
devices operating in the AHCI mode to be detected before continuing with booting.

When displayed, indicates that there is no drive installed

<generic_drive_info_n>

When displayed, indicates the generic drive information of the drive connected to the
port indicated.
