TRUSTED COMPUTING SCREEN (AM4011)

This screen provides functions for specifying the trusted computing configuration settings as
well as TPM owner status information. The functions indicated on this screen are only available
when a TPM module is installed.

TCG/TPM SUPPORT

SDO

This function is used to specify the initialization of the on board trusted computing module.

Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: No (if there is no TPM module installed, leave set to No)

Execute TPM command

This function is used to specify the execution of the TPM enable or disable command during
POST. When "Disable" or "Enable" is selected, BIOS executes the selected command during
the POST and then changes the setting back to "Don’t Change".

This is the BIOS default setting and is automatically set after each Enable or Disable com-
mand is executed.

Use this setting to execute the TPM disable command during POST.

Enabled

Use this setting to execute the TPM enable command during POST.
