To view the status of Acuity System patients in your unit
1. View the status icon next to each patient.
Status icon key
✔
Patient is assigned to you in the Assign Patients page (escalation mode, only).
Patient is having a lethal arrhythmia event.
Patient is in alarm (other than a lethal arrhythmia event).
Patient’s alarm notification is suspended for 90 seconds.
Patient is monitored by a wireless patient monitor.
Patient is monitored by a hardwired patient monitor.
Monitored patient is not identified by name or patient ID number.
Blank space Patient is not actively monitored by the Acuity System.
The patient’s monitor has been disconnected from the Acuity System and the patient data is
still retained by the system.
