Series & Fade Modes

Trails

In Series mode, when Trails is selected, switching between loops at
any time will cue the selected loop to begin playback automatically
at the end of the current loop cycle.

Similarly, when Fade is selected, switching between loops at any time
will fade the currently playing loop from the time the button is
pressed until the end of the current loop cycle and also cue the newly
selected loop to begin playback automatically at the end of the current
loop cycle.

Overdub

When recording an overdub, the overdub will not save until it is closed
and a loop boundary has been passed. As a result, when Full is selected
in Series mode, switching loops right after recording an overdub will
result in the overdub not being present when you switch back to the
other loop. However, Trails and Fade automatically close the recording
at the end of the loop cycle−this ensures that the Overdub you just
recorded gets saved. For this reason, it’s best to always use Series
mode with the Trails or Fade setting. You can always accomplish a
Full stop, by double pressing the Stop switch.
