Checking and adjusting

Level-up the instrument in advance
with the electronic level. The bubble
must be centered. If it extends
beyond the circle, use the Allen key
supplied to center it by turning the
adjustment screws.

After adjustment no screw must be
loose.

Circular level

Level the instrument and then
remove it from the tribrach. If the
bubble is not centred, adjust it using
the adjusting pin.
Turning the adjustment screws:
• to the left: the bubble approaches

the screw

• to the right: the bubble goes away

from the screw.

After adjustment no screw must be
loose.

Circular level on the tribrach

The connections between metal and
timber components must always be
firm and tight.
• Tighten the Allen screws (2)

moderately.

• Tighten the articulated joints on the

tripod head (1) just enough to keep
the tripod legs open when you lift it
off the ground.
