One-touch editing

This function makes it easier for you to record from audio CDs.
•When recording, if a track is cut off in the middle at the end of the
forward side, it is recorded from the beginning on the reverse side.
•At the end of the reverse side recording stops and the current track
will be interrupted.
Preparations:
0 Press [c!)/i] to turn the unit on,
(|) The leader tape must be wound on beforehand.
(D Insert the tape to be recorded on into deck 2. page 36}
To record in Dolby B NR:
Press [DOLBY NR] and check NR” is dis­
played.
Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
One side will record, then recording will stop
automatically.
c^p: Both sides will record (forward side-» reverse side),
then recording will stop automatically.

Set the tape direction.
To set the direction, first press [<3] or [>] and toen [■].
Insert audio CDs in the trays.

When discs are loaded
Press [DISCI ]-[5] to select the disc to record, then press [■] to
stop the disc.
Press [CD EDIT].
“CD EDIT will scroll across the display from right to left.
If you select “ c ^ d ” in step Q, the direction automatically chang­
es to when you press [CD EDIT].
To stop one-touch editing
Press [■] on the cassette deck.
The DVDA/ideo CD/CD changer also stops.
“EDIT OUT will scroll across the display from right to left.
To edit-record programmed tracks
0 Perform steps 0~0 above, and then press [DVD] on the remote
control.
0 Press [PLAY MODE] to select “PRGM”.
0 Press [◄], [►],
[V], [A] to select the track, and then [SELECT]
on the remote control. (Program the desired tracks.)
0 Press [CD EDIT].
H When “ERROR” appears on the display
^ See if the “1 DISC/ALL” mode is set to “ALL DISC” or “ALL DISC
REPEAT. CD edit only functions in the "1 -DISC" mode.
