It is possible to use the acoustic image equalizer (At EQ) together
with the surround effect to create your own sound effect.
The At EQ equalizer uses the SOFT, SHARP, HEAVY and LIGHT
sound quality coordinates to achieve subtle sound quality settings
with ease.
Press [3D Al EQ] to select the surround level.
Everytime you press the button:
Al EQ-^3D Al 1 -^3D A! 2

Operate Joystick to adjust the sound quality.
® ^—> direction; SOFT-SHARP setting
d) j. t direction; LIGHT-HEAVY setting
Repeat steps ® and (D to set the desired sound quality.
The display before sound quality adjustments were started is
restored after a moment.
To release the equalizer
Turn [MULTI-JOG] to select “PUT”.
To select the surround level with the remote control
Press [3D Al] {[SHIFTI+[MARKER]).
Each time these buttons are pressed, the setting is changed in the
sequence described above.
•The sound quality setting is stored automatically. It is recalled when
"Al EQ" is next selected.
•You cannot select "3D Ai 1” or “3D Al 2” in the following cases;
• Playing a DVD disc (except for "MIX 2 CH" mode)
• Using karaoke and karaoke effect (except for U.K. and Europe)
