Playing a Keyboard or Tone Generator
From the DD-11
lftheDD-11 MIDI OUT connector @ is
connected to the MIDI IN connector of a
MIDI keyboard or tone generator, the
keyboard or tone generator will respond
precisely to instruments or notes played
on the DD-11, Referring to the instrument
and note list above, if SNARE DRUM
LOW is assigned to PAD 1 ®, then MIDI
note number 52 will be transmitted
whenever PAD 1 is played, causing an E2
note to be played on the receiving

Playing the DD-11 From a Keyboard or
Tone Generator
If the MIDI OUT connector ® of a
keyboard is connected to the MIDI IN @
connector of the DD-11, then the DD-11
will play the instruments specified by note
numbers received from the keyboard. If
an E2 note is played on the keyboard, for
example, MIDI note number 52 will be
transmitted by the keyboard and received
by the DD-11, causing the SNARE DRUM
