TIMER

Timer 1 and Timer 2

The STB contains two timers that are capable of turning the STB on and off at

selected times, on selected channels and on selected days. You can also set your

STB to simultaneously turn your D-VHS on to recording mode.

Timer Set up

In TIMER Menu, press the A or ^ arrow to select either TIMER 1 or TIMER 2

Note:

TIME must be entered in CLOCK to operate TIMER features.

Press the ^ arrow twice, then the A or V arrow to select the day.

Press the

button to move to the first time field.

Press the A or V arrow to select the hour, then the & arrow to move to the minutes.

button to move to

the next time field.

Press the A or V arrow to select the hour, then the ^ arrow to move to the minutes.

Press the A or ^ arrow to select the minutes, then press the

ACTION

button.

n Press the ^ arrow, then the A or ^ arrow to select the channel.

Press the

ACTION

button.

Press the ^ arrow once, then the ^ arrow once.

Press the A or ^ arrow to select the mode.

OFF - Disables the timer.

VIEW - Turns on STB only. (Must turn TV on to view the event).

RECORD - Turns on STB and starts D-VHS recording mode.

Note:

All data fields must be entered prior to selecting a mode.

Note:

Times cannot overlap between the timers. The first entered timer (either Timer 1 or
Timer 2) will override the second entered timer.

TIME R Activation

The TIMER is active when the STB is OFF or ON.
The STB will switch to the selected channel at the

selected time set in the TIMER.
