Refilling or Replacing the
Verification Stamp
The verification stamp contains ink. When the stamp appears faded or
hard to read, the stamp should be refilled with ink or replaced.
NOTE
1. Stamp ink refills can be purchased
from a stationary store. Use Shachi-
hata 0 Stamper Ink or its
equivalent.
1. Remove the Document Return Tray. Open the ADF Cover.
2. (aj To refill the stamp with ink, remove the Verification Stamp, and refill
the stamp by placing a few drops of specified ink into it. Make sure
that ink does not spill from the stamp when it is turned over. Then
reset the stamp unit.

(bj To replace the stamp, remove the Verification Stamp, and replace the
stamp with a new one.
3. After the stamp unit has been refilled or replaced, close the ADF Cover.
