Using the Automatic Focus Function

This Movie Camera focuses
automatically on almost all subjects.
(No operation Is necessary.)

When the “MF” Indication Q is not dispiayed in the t'ibwfinder, the
Movie Camera is in the Auto Focus Mode.
(“MF” means Manual Focus)

Set the Mode Selector Switch to “AUTO” or press the [FOCUS]
Button to activate the Auto Focus Mode.

In the folipvying shooting situations! the Auto Focus Mode may not
provide sàtiS'factóty rebdlts; use thé'Manùal'Focus Mode instèad.

O Shiny surfaces. Subjects with backlighting or much light

reflection.

0 A subject with a part of it hear the Movie Camera and another

part far away from it.

O A flat surface, e. g. a white wallj
