Recording a tape

You Can recond tapes from any source you have

connected to your system.

1 Put a blank tape in tape well B.

2 Set the recording level and recording balance (see

page 40).

3 Select the tape direction

To pause recording

Press the REC PAUSE button.

The

II indicator lights.

To stop recording

Press the ■ button, then stop the source component.

To record again after a mistake

1 Press the or ►► button to rewind the tape. The

recording stops, the tape rewinds to the beginning of

the current track, and the cassette, deck stops.

2 Press the REC/ARM button twice, A 4-second blank

space is put on the tape, and the cassette deck enters

the RECORD/PAUSE mode.

3 Press the REC/ARM button once.

4 Play the source again. . . . .

To record tapes so you can search for tracks

If you record blank space of at least 4 seconds between

tracks on tapes you record, you carr use the DPSS .

feature' (see page 39) to look for a specific track,

If you're, in the STOP mode, press the REC/ARM button .

After recording a 4-second, blank space, the deck enters
