from the RA4 (Ground)
If the wires are reversed and the signal goes negative (-) first, or a rising edge is selected to
trigger the Haltech ECU, then the RA4 will still generate a pulse but it will not trigger the
Haltech correctly and very strange things will happen to the ignition timing. So please make
sure the RA4 is wired correctly.
E.2.1 Hall Effect Sensors
There are two types of Hall effect sensors available.
S1 Black sheathed Hall effect sensor: 2 Dependent Channels. In the Ignition Setup page set
Home Edge to Falling and Trigger Edge to Rising.
S2 Grey sheathed Hall effect sensor: 2 Independent Channels. In the Ignition Setup page set
Home Edge and Trigger Edge to Falling OR Rising.
