50 Hour
Check Nose Counterweight Bolts
Check tightness of nose weight bolts every 50 hours. Check for looseness or wear. Use the numbered
sequence shown to tighten bolts to 350 ft•lb (475 N•m).
Plow
Change Plow Vibrator Oil (Initial)
Change plow vibrator oil after first 50 hours of operation and every 500 hours. If normal ambient operating
temperature exceeds 100°F (38°C), change plow vibrator oil every 250 hours. To change:
1.
Open fill (2) to vent vibrator.
2.
Drain oil at drain plug (1).
3.
Replace plug and move plow vibrator to horizontal position.
Fill with MPL at fill (2) until oil is halfway up sight glass (3). Capacity is 3.5 qt (3.3 L).
IMPORTANT: Do not drain oil from plow vibrator when hot. Let vibrator cool before removing drain plug.
