1.1 Definition of Safety Notes

information about safe and environmen-
tally friendly operation as well as environ-

mental laws and regulations.

1.2 Proper Use

The stove may only be used for heating suitable
living spaces and may only be fuelled with wood
(firewood, wood briquettes) and brown coal (lignite)
briquettes (depends on the model, see Part 1 of the
Operating Instructions).

WARNING!
Any other use is considered improper use

and can cause severe damage to the pro-
duct or even fatal injuries to persons.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to any
damage or injury caused by improper use of the
stove.

1.3 Safety Instructions

WARNING!
Never use spirits, petrol, or other flamma-
ble fluids to light the stove. During ope-
ration, the external surfaces of the stove
become very hot, and thus the entire stove
poses a burn hazard. To ensure the safe
operation of this stove, we are enclosing a
glove with the delivery of your stove.

Children should never be left unattended

near the stove while it is in operation. The-
re is a burn hazard.

Do not wear loose-fitting and/or easily
flammable clothes when adding fuel to the
fire.
