Gateway: Displays the Gateway the Router forwards the connection too, 0.0.0.0
forwards to the router itself whereas a specified IP forwards to another Network
(i.e. the Internet).

Metric: Displays the number of Hops needed to connect to this Route in most
cases this will be 0.

Interface: Displays the Interface of the Router used for the specified Route (i.e.
eth0 specifies WAN 1 and br-lan specifies Local Network).

3.4 Firewall/Security

There are six submenus in the Firewall/Security menu: Port Forwarding, DMZ, UPnP, IP-
MAC Binding, URL Filtering and Client Filtering. Click a submenu to view and/or modify
the corresponding settings.

3.4.1 Port Forwarding
This page displays the Port Forwarding Rules currently configured on the Router.

Select the menu

Firewall/Security>>Port Forwarding to display the following page.

Port Forwarding: Allows you to open public Ports to allow access to the private Port
of a local device. Port Forwarding opens a hole in the Firewall to the specified Local
Network device. Port Forwarding relies on the security of the Local Network device
as it merely allows the incoming connection to reach the Local Network device.

Application Name: Allows you specify a Name for the Port Forwarding rule for
easy identification. We do not recommend special characters or spaces in the
Application Name.

Protocol: Allows you to specify whether to use TCP, UPD or Both protocols to pass
the Port Forwarding traffic. Both is the default and recommended setting.
