SIP Trunk (1 - 4) Settings

The X-44 can be equipped with up to four VoIP Telephone lines from one or multiple telephone line
providers.

Multiple Service Providers

Generally, when using a single telephone line provider, this will be set to “Off”. The number of registered

telephone lines is equal to the total number of concurrent calls.

Subscriber Information

• Enter the information provided by the telephone line provider.
• Phone Number - Enter the phone number, which may not resemble a standard telephone number it

may be a series of numbers, letters, or other characters, i.e. 04123*120. Using a nonstandard

number sequence will minimize malicious attach.

• Auth ID - The Authorization ID may be the same as the telephone number, or it may be something

totally different. In addition, this parameter may not be used with some telephone line providers.

• Auth Password - Enter the password that was provided by the telephone line provider.
• The SIP Proxy, Outbound Proxy, SIP Secondary Proxy, SIP Surviving Proxy, Register Server,

Outbound Registrar, and SIP Domain - Some or all of these entries will be used, and may be an IP

Address, or a URL such as SIP.TrunkProvider.com.

• Register Expires (sec) - Is the amount of time, in seconds, that the X-44 and the remote device

will “Speak to Each other”, known as a “Keep Alive”. Unless the telephone line provider specifies a

different time, this parameter should not be changed.

• Port - Unless the telephone line provider specifies a different port, this parameter should not be

changed.
