Cargo compartment floor locked

The cargo compartment floor can be locked
and unlocked using the mechanical key.

Roof carrier

Important safety notes

WARNING

Observe the manufacturer's mounting
instructions. Otherwise, incorrectly installed
carrier bars or their loads could work loose
from the vehicle.
Do not exceed a maximum roof load of
220 lb (100 kg).
Bear in mind, that the driving characteristics
of the vehicle with a roof load differ from the
driving characteristics when driving without a
roof load.

Mercedes-Benz recommends that you

only use roof carriers that have been tested
and approved for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
This helps to prevent damage to the
vehicle.
Position the load on the roof carrier in such
a way that the vehicle will not sustain
damage even when it is in motion.

Depending on the vehicle equipment,
ensure that when the roof carrier is
installed you can:

raise the sliding sunroof fully

R

open the panorama roof with power tilt/
sliding panel fully

R

open the tailgate fully

Attaching the roof carrier

Secure the roof carrier to roof rails :. In
doing so, observe the manufacturer's
installation instructions.

WARNING

In order to help prevent spilling liquids on
vehicle occupants and/or vehicle equipment,
only use containers that fit into the cup
holder. Use lids on open containers and do
not fill containers to a height where the
contents, especially hot liquids, could spill
during braking, vehicle maneuvers, or in an
accident. Liquids spilled on vehicle occupants
may cause serious personal injury. Liquids
spilled on vehicle equipment may cause
damage not covered by the Mercedes-Benz
Limited Warranty.
When not in use, keep the cup holder closed.
An open cup holder may cause injury to you
