OPERATION

Manual Operation

To print the time/date on a piece of paper, slip the paper into the Paper Slot illustrated below.
When the paper is in the proper position, press anywhere on the Print Bar.

Automatic Operation

To print the time/date on a piece of paper, slip the paper into the Paper Slot up to the Margin Stop.
The Simplex 100 activates the print head.

Combination & Either Operation

To print the time/date on a piece of paper using Combination, slip the paper into the Paper Slot
illustrated below. When the paper hits the margin stop, press anywhere on the Print Bar.

To print the time/date on a piece of paper using Either, slip the paper into the Paper Slot illustrated
below and the clock prints when you press the Print Bar OR when the paper hits the margin stop.

Time Card Operation

To print the time/date in a specific place on a time card, use the window on the Simplex 100 to line
up the appropriate space of the card with the open area of the gray print shield. If in Automatic
mode, the Simplex 100 activates the print head when the card is in the correct position. If in
Manual mode, simply press the Print Bar.
