Variable Concatenate

General introduction

The Variable Concatenate command allows you to combine two or more

existing variables or constants into a new variable.

Variable Concatenate

To concatenate variables, proceed as follows:

Add the process Variable Concatenate to your label program.

In the Data box, type a fixed value or select the variable you want
to concatenate.

To select a variable, click

beside one of the Data boxes to open

the Variables dialogue box.

Select the desired variable and click OK.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 for the next variable.


When all the variables and fixed content have been identified for
concatenation,

Click

beside the Result Variable box.

Select or create the variable that will contain the combined data
and click OK

Click OK

Example

In this example, the fixed text (P) PRODUCT and the contents found in

variable [A1] are concatenated together. The result is saved in variable
[C0].
