Variable Extract

General introduction

The Variable Extract process allows you to extract one or more specified

fields out of a variable. Up to 20 fields can be parsed in one single
variable extraction process.

Your input variable must have a separator between fields for the
Variable Extract process to work.

To extract data based upon the position of data in a variable, use the
Variable Substring process.

in the input variable.

The left-hand column of the Result Variable table shows the number of
the field to be extracted from the input variable.
