Backup / Restore
These functions allow you to save a backup of the current configuration of your router to a
defined location on your PC, or to restore a previously saved configuration. This is useful if you
wish to experiment with different settings, knowing that you have a backup in hand in case any
mistakes occur. It is advisable that you backup your router configuration before making any
changes to your router configuration.
Backup Configuration
Press Backup Settings to select where on your local PC you want to store your setting file. You
may also want to change the name of the file when saving if you wish to keep multiple backups.
Restore Configuration
Press Browse to select a file from your PC to restore. You should only restore your router
setting that has been generated by the Backup function which is created with the current version
of the router firmware. Settings files saved to your PC should not be manually edited in any way.
Select the settings files you wish to use, and press Restore to load the setting into the router.
Click Restore to begin restoring the configuration and wait for the router to restart before
performing any actions.
