Each channel window contains buttons and drop-downs that you need if you want to
"crash record" an event immediately. In addition to scrolling up and down, you can
type characters for quick auto-pick capability within those drop-downs.

Stop recording the event.

Expand channel window to show channel items. The arrow on the
expand button points downward if the channel window is already
expanded.

Up/down arrow buttons to minimize/maximize channel display by row.

You can enter the name of the clip in the channel window prior to a crash record. Once
the event begins recording, the name dialog box will be grayed out. However, you
can still modify the name of the clip by right-clicking on the event and select

Rename

Event

or press the F2 key to bring up the Rename window.

The source drop-down will show available router sources if you already configured
your router and router sources for feeds.

The location drop-down shows folders that you can record your clips into. The location
drop-down is set to

None

by default. If a crash record is started without populating it,

the clip will be recorded into the Default Record Location as specified in Aurora Ingest
Server options.

The aspect ratio drop-down will only be available if the Enable Option to Switch
Aspect Ratio is selected in System tab within Tools | Options of Aurora Ingest Server.
The availability of the drop-down also depends on user’s permission to switch aspect
ratio within the logon setup. This is done through the User Administration tool in
Aurora Ingest Server.

The feature to change aspect ratio is currently supported for K2 version 3.2 and above,
when controlling SD channels only. The feature will not work with previous versions
of K2, HD channels, or other media servers, such as M-Series.
