Chapter 7 Installing the Level 30R Storage System
• If the ports are connected to active network devices, the LEDs behave according
to the LED Mode selected. In the default view mode (Link), the LEDs should be
on.
• If the ports are not connected to active network devices, the LEDs will stay off.
Powering on the control point PC
Use the following procedure to power on K2 Storage System’s control point PC and
verify proper operation during power up of the system.
1. Power up and log on to the PC using standard Windows procedures.
2. Start and log on to NetCentral.
3. NetCentral reports devices as offline. As each device of the K2 Storage System is
powered on, check NetCentral to verify the device’s status
