Call tariff

If the home base station receives metering pulses during a
call, the costs of the call are displayed when you finish the
conversation. You can set the amount of money (call tariff)
with which the costs increment with each metering pulse. If
no metering pulses are received, the call duration in hours,
minutes and seconds will be displayed instead.

Example:

Suppose you have set the call tariff to 0.25. When,
during a call, the first metering pulse is received the
call costs will be 0.25, with the second pulse they will
be 0.50 and so on.

Ask your dealer if your telephone network provides
metering pulses.

To set the call tariff:

1. Press then the R key for 2 seconds.

Four dashes are displayed.

2. Enter the PIN code of the home base station.

Two dashes are displayed.

3. Enter 52.

The current call tariff is displayed. Default is 1.00
which is displayed as ‘1 00’ (space indicates the
decimal point).

4. Enter the new call tariff (C = delete).

You do not need to enter the decimal point. If the
amount is 0.18 enter 18 and, if the amount is
4.00 enter 400.

5. Press and then .

The amount of money (call tariff) with which the
call costs increment with each metering pulse is
now set.

If you end a call either the call costs or the duration
is displayed for five seconds. For instance:
