Changing home base station
authentication code

The home base station can handle up to 8 cordless phones.
An authentication code makes sure that only the cordless
phones you want can use the home base station. This code is
a secret number of between 4 and 8 digits. Only cordless
phones that have been subscribed can connect to the home base
station.

To subscribe a cordless phone to the home base station
you need:

The authentication code.

The PARK code (on the home base station).

To press the Search/Subscribe button.

The default authentication code is preset to
12345678. We recommend that you change this code
directly after installing the cordless telephone system.

Do not forget the authentication code!

You can reset the authentication code to its default
value (12345678) by clearing all home base station
settings. How to proceed is described in “Clearing all
home base station settings” under “Settings”.

Change the authentication code as follows:

1. Press and then press the R key for 2 seconds.

Four dashes are displayed.

2. Enter the PIN code for the home base station

(default is 1111).
Two dashes are displayed.

3. Enter 16.

’ followed by eight dashes is displayed.

4. Enter the current authentication code.

You can delete digits using the C key.

5. Press the # key to confirm.

6. Press the C key to delete the code.

7. Enter the new authentication code.

8. Press and then .

The authentication code has now changed.

Write down your changed authentication code below.
Keep this code secret.
