3. Enter 42.

The current call barring status is displayed
(0 = off, 1 = on).

4. Enter a digit to switch call barring on or off:

‘0’ to switch call barring off

‘1’ to switch call barring on

5. Press and then press .

You have now set call barring on or off.

Setting barred numbers

You can enter three numbers of up to 8 digits with
the sequence numbers 1, 2 and 3 for call barring. You
can also record the prefix of numbers to be barred, for
instance the prefix of chat lines and other expensive
services, or the prefix for international numbers. All
calls to numbers with this prefix will be barred.

1. Press and then press the R key for 2 seconds.

Four dashes are displayed.

2. Enter the PIN code for the home base station

(default is 1111).
Two dashes are displayed.

3. Enter 65.

The sequence number 1 appears on the left of the
display. You will also see a dash or a previously
set number or prefix.

4. Press the Up or Down key, once or more, to

choose another sequence number if required.

5. Enter the number or the prefix.

Use the C key to delete the last digit if needed.

6. You can press the Up or Down key, once or more,

to record another prefix or number.

7. Press and then press .

The numbers set are now barred.

Programming exempted numbers

You can exempt up to ten telephone numbers, for
example emergency numbers, from call barring by
the home base station. This means that these numbers
can always be dialled. Each of the exempted numbers
has a sequence number (0 - 9).

1. Press and then press the R key for 2 seconds.

Four dashes are displayed.
