Subscribing cordless phones
The cordless phone that comes with the home base station is
already subscribed to the home base station. Any cordless
phones you buy separately must be subscribed too, in order to
connect to the home base station. A maximum of eight cordless
phones can be subscribed to each home base station. One
cordless phone can be subscribed to up to eight base stations.
Subscribing a cordless phone
To subscribe a cordless phone to a home base station
you need the PARK (Portable Access Right Key) code
of the home base station. The PARK is printed on the
back of the home base station. In addition to the
PARK you need the authentication code of the home
base station. The authentication code is secret and
prevents other cordless phones subscribing to the
home base station without your approval.
To subscribe a cordless phone to a home base station:
1. Press and then press for 2 seconds.
If the programming security for the cordless
phone is on four dashes are displayed. If so enter
the PIN code for the cordless phone (default is
0000).
2. Two dashes are displayed.
3. Enter 13.
If the cordless phone is within the range of one
or more home base stations the PARK of one of
the home base stations is displayed. If the cordless
phone is not within the range of a home base
station, dashes are displayed.
4. Check that the correct home base station PARK
is displayed.
Press the Up or Down key to go through the
PARKs of any other home base stations.
You can also enter your own PARK if it is not
displayed. On the back of the home base station
you can see that the PARK is a string of digits
separated by hyphens. You do not need to enter
these hyphens. They will be automatically
displayed. Only the last 12 entered digits will be
displayed.
5. Press to confirm.
‘ ’ followed by eight dashes is displayed.
6. Enter the authentication code for the home base
station.
The default setting is 12345678.
