*The low gate setting corresponds to the display update rate and is
used to stabilize the display reading with a fluctuating signal.
**The minimum frequency is dependent on high gate setting.
Contact De-Bounce Filter (FiLter)
The filter function (FiLter) can be used for applications where the meter
is set up to count pulses generated by switch contacts. The filter value
can be set anywhere between 2 and 50, the higher the value, the greater
the filtering.
The filter function (Filter) is the second option in the Advanced Fea-
tures menu. There are two settings, Hi SPd (high speed) and Lo SPd
(low speed), press ENTER when Lo SPd is displayed to enable the filter
function. Program the filter value, so that there are no extra counts when
a contact closure is completed.
