11. Filling the Hydraulic Reservoir

IMPORTANT: Keep dirt, water, and other contaminants

from entering the hydraulic system; clean
the area to prevent contamination of the
hydraulic fluid and use a clean funnel with
a fine screen mesh.

1. Set the vehicle parking brake.

2. TG Models

Using the control station, put the platform in the up and
open position (Figure 33).

TL Models
Using the control station, put the platform in the down
and open position (Figure 34).

3. Remove the filler cap and add recommended hydraulic

fluid to pump reservoir. Check that the hydraulic fluid is
at the proper fill level (Figure 35).

IMPORTANT: Always use the correct grade of hydraulic

fluid. Refer to the chart below for
recommended hydraulic fluid or contact
your SAF-HOLLAND representative.
